About the meme

The ghost photoshoot trend is a TikTok format where people wear a white bedsheet with eye holes, often with sunglasses, and pose for a casual autumn photoshoot cut into a slideshow. It began on September 10, 2020, when TikToker jackjanson88 posted photos of himself as a sheet ghost set to "Oh Klahoma" by Jack Stauber, and #GhostPhotoshoot passed 523 million views within a week, according to Know Your Meme. It returns every fall, with versions for friend groups, dogs and cats; in 2026 marketing blogs also describe ghosts holding signs naming things to "ghost."
