Where did Talk Dirty Dance AI come from?
The clip behind the trend is a fan's vertical phone video from the crowd: the dance break of Jason Derulo's "Talk Dirty" (released August 2013, featuring 2 Chainz), with a row of backing dancers in yellow-and-black and red-and-black jackets, white spotlights, tall flame jets along the stage and an LED wall behind. Some sites match it to his February 28, 2026 show at Cologne's Lanxess Arena, where setlist.fm lists "Talk Dirty", but who filmed it and at which show has not been confirmed.
The earliest AI version we could find was posted on TikTok by @guamboyj on October 17, 2026 (UTC), captioned "Wish I got a better angle! Haha" and tagged #jasonderulo #talkdirty #ai. In it the lead dancer is already swapped for someone else. It drew only about 6,400 views by October 27.
The wave came from templates. CapCut templates titled "ai dance" and "Ai" let people drop in one photo, and tutorial accounts pushed them: a tutorial by @yyyss7575 posted on October 22 had 350,100 views by October 27. Pet versions followed, such as a corgi on its hind legs by @soylolalaya at 40,800 views. By October 26 and 27, several sites had registered talkdirtydanceai domains.
Why did Talk Dirty Dance AI take off?
The contrast does the work. A concert stage with fire and a drilled crew looks serious, so whoever ends up in the lead spot, a dad, a grandma, a corgi, is funny before they even move. The fan's shaky phone angle makes it look like something you actually saw live.
It takes one photo. The camera, the crew and the moves all come from the clip, so anyone can make one in minutes and swap in a new person for every post. That made it an easy format for tutorial accounts and for group chats.
The song carries it. "Talk Dirty" is a 2013 hit most people still recognise from the first horn riff, and the live hook lands right on the dance break.
How people play Talk Dirty Dance AI
1. Your concert cameo
Put yourself out front in the clothes from your photo and post it as the night you headlined.
2. Grandma or dad in the lead
The family version: the least likely dancer in the family hits every move in front of the crew. Ask them first.
3. Pets on the stage
Some of the most shared takes have a corgi or a cat up on its hind legs in the lead spot.
4. Not the same as
"Talk Dirty to Me" by Poison (1987) is a different song, and the Dirty Dancing lift trend is a different trend.
