What does "6-7 Meme" mean?

The 6-7 meme is the phrase "six seven" said with a palms-up gesture, hands moving up and down in turn, and it has no fixed meaning. It comes from Skrilla's drill song "Doot Doot (6 7)", first released in December 2024, and spread through basketball edits before peaking in late 2025, when Dictionary.com named "67" its Word of the Year. In 2026 it is past its peak but far from gone: a study of Google searches from January to August put 6-7 first among Gen Alpha slang terms.
