What does "I'm So Sorry Trend (I'm So Sorry I Lied)" mean?
The I'm so sorry trend is a TikTok slideshow in which someone posts a photo they claim shows them, then removes one edit per slide until the real photo appears and the last slide says sorry for lying. The earliest known version was posted by @theywanthunter on August 22, 2026 and passed 25 million plays. In October 2026 it came back with childhood Halloween costumes: the first slide shows the costume everyone imagines, the last one the costume that was actually worn.
