Halloweenposting (Spookyposting)

Take any meme. Add a pumpkin. Change one word to "witch". Post.

What does "Halloweenposting (Spookyposting)" mean?

Halloweenposting (spookyposting) is the October habit of giving famous memes and GIFs a deliberately cheap Halloween makeover: jack-o'-lanterns, spiders, cobwebs and witches pasted on, and the caption rewritten with spooky words in Impact font. It started on X on October 4, 2024, with a Halloween edit of a Regular Show GIF, and it works the way Jollyposting does at Christmas. Know Your Meme added a new 2026 example on October 1, but there is little data on how big it is this year.
